Audigo, my favorite pocket recorder, drops price for Black Friday and launches on Android
I don’t usually write about updates like this one but I’m a big fan of the Audigo and thought I’d share.
The San Francisco company behind the musician-favorite wireless mic and mobile studio app announced that an Android version will launch in December 2025. The move makes Audigo’s platform available to the other half of the smartphone world, bringing its multitrack audio and video tools to Android musicians, podcasters, and content creators.
The Android release includes the same features in the iOS app: high-quality wireless audio capture, mixing and effects, multi-track recording, and easy export.
Furthermore, for the holidays, Audigo is also cutting the price of its mic to $199—its lowest price yet—for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, running November 23 through December 1.
Alongside the hardware deal, the company introduced Studio+, an expanded suite of tools for creators who want more flexibility. Studio+ adds unlimited tracks, extra effects and presets, automatic soundcheck, cloud storage, and remote collaboration. Current subscribers get access immediately, and new users can choose between a $15 monthly plan or a new $99 annual option, which saves about 45 percent over the year.
You can read my full review below and I highly recommend this little recorder if you’re a musician or, like me, a wannabe rocker.
Review: The Audigo Audio Recorder
If you’ve ever clicked a music or guitar video on Instagram or Facebook, you’ve seen the tiny little $249 Audigo recorder. It’s about as big as a few sugar cubes and it’s supposed to offer multi-track audio recording at relatively high fidelity.
